Tonight I remembered that when Alexander was a toddler he used to have a "social" laugh. It was hilarious. He had no idea what everyone else was laughing at, but he would laugh right along. Very forced and very loud.

Last night Alexander got sick a few times in the middle of the night. When Elizabeth got up with Riley, she found out. She asked Alexander why he didn't come and get us. His response was that he didn't want to get us sick.

At dinner tonight, Mary asked what the green stuff was. I told her it was spinach and gave her the old bit about it making you have big muscles. She showed me hers and asked to see my muscles. I showed her my arm and she said "You're like a super hero."

We found out that my brother and his wife are having a baby girl. Mary was of course very excited about that. I asked her what the girl's name should be. She responded "Cock-a-doodle-do the Chicken."
